Miss Mundo Latina 2003 - Jessica Anne Jordan Burton

Jessica Anne Jordan Burton (born 6 May 1984 in Bath, Somerset, England) is a politician and a former model.

Jessica is the only child of an English father and Bolivian mother, Aida Burton. Her father, Andrew Keith Jordan is a petroleum engineer. In addition to Bolivia, Jessica has also lived in England, Scotland, the USA and Brazil.

In her youth Jessica was very interested in sport and travelling and her mother worried that she was a bit too ‘tomboyish’ and not ‘girly’ enough. At about 16 years of age her mother enrolled her into modelling classes, which Jessica found she enjoyed. As a result, Jessica went on to participate in numerous fashion competitions in Europe the USA and Mexico as well as having succeeded in many beauty competitions. These include Miss Mundo Latina, which she won in Miami in 2003. Jessica Jordan succeeded Desiree Durán who won the Miss Bolivia title in 2005, and Miss Bolivia Universe in 2006. In addition, she was crowned Reina Internacional del Café 2008.

Jessica had acquired an interest in politics from her mother and states that she always wanted to help her country. Her beauty title gave her the opportunity to meet people of influence, which culminated in her meeting the country’s president, Evo Morales. President Morales invited Jessica to stand for Governor in the very marginal constituency of Beni, in which the president’s party Movimiento Al Socialismo had previously lost by 25,000 votes. Jessica did not win, losing by 2,900 votes (having narrowed the gap). She nonetheless obtained 40% of the votes and the President then asked her to become Director of Development in Beni. Critics say that this position puts her in competition with the elected Governor.

Jessica is responsible for a budget of $700m dollars (USD) a year for Beni, to be spent on roads, nurseries, hospitals, etc.

Miss Bolivia 2006 - Ana María Ortíz

Ana María Ortíz (born 1989) is a Bolivian beauty queen and model and Bolivia's delegate to Miss World in 2006.

She was born in Beni in northern Bolivia. She had originally intended to venture into politics and to study political science.

She entered the 2006 contest with Desiree Durán Morales.

 

Miss Bolivia 2007 - Katherine David

 Katherine “Kate” David Céspedes born October 22, 1988 in Bolivia in the town of San Ignacio de Velasco won the 2007 Miss Bolivia pageant. She was represented her country in the Miss Tourism Queen International 2008 and Miss Universe 2008 pageants but unplaced at all.

Miss Bolivia World 2007 - Sandra Hernández

 Sandra Lea Hernández Saavedra (born 1985) is a beauty queen who won the title of Miss Bolivia World in 2007, essentially 1st runner up to Katherine David, and thus represented Bolivia in Miss World 2007 in China. She studied International Commerce.

Miss Bolivia 2008 - Dominique Peltier

Rosa Dominique Noemí Peltier De Liota, best known as Dominique Peltier, is a Bolivian beauty queen of Cochabamba who won the Miss Bolivia Universo 2008 title during the Miss Bolivia 2008 pageant on 19 July 2008. She will represent her home country Bolivia at the Miss Universe 2009 pageant at the Atlantis Paradise Island, in Nassau, Bahamas on August 23, 2009. Dominique did not enter the 15 semi-finalists. She represented Bolivia in Reina Hispanoamericana 2008 and was placed as a finalist.

María Olivia Pinheiro Menacho (born October 29, 1983) is a Bolivian beauty pageant titleholder and model who was crowned Miss Bolivia 2010, and would have represented her country in the 2011 Miss Universe pageant. Pinheiro declined to participate in the international competition after rumors about her real age were revealed to the press.

Born in Andrés Ibáñez, Santa Cruz, Bolivia, to a Brazilian father – hence her fluent Portuguese – and a Bolivian mother (namely José Carlos Pinheiro and Cotty Menacho), Pinheiro started her pageant career in 1999 when, after just turning 16 years old, she represented her country at Miss Model of the World in Turkey and then a year later participated in Queen of the World 2000 in Germany, placing among the Top 10 semifinalists. It's then when Promociones Gloria, organizers of Miss Bolivia, named her Modelo Revelación 2000.

A year later, Pinheiro participated and became one of the favorites at International Queen of Flowers 2001 in Colombia, a pageant that was eventually won by Lilián Villanueva of Mexico. In 2002, she participated in her fourth international competition, Miss Intercontinental in Germany and a year later, represented Bolivia in her fifth contest, International Female Model 2003 in Aruba.

She's also worked as a model in her native Bolivia for the past decade and has been elected Queen of Comparsa at Santa Cruz de la Sierra's carnival celebrations twice: at age 16 as Queen of Chirapas Jrs. 2000 and at age 20 as Queen of Tremendazos 2004.

Pinheiro, who stands 1.74 m (5 ft 8 1⁄2 in) tall, competed as Miss Santa Cruz against 18 other delegates in her country's national pageant, Miss Bolivia, held in Santa Cruz de la Sierra on August 26, 2010, where she became the eventual winner of the title and was crowned by outgoing titleholder Claudia Arce, gaining the right to represent Bolivia in the 2011 Miss Universe pageant, to be broadcast live from São Paulo, Brazil on September 12, 2011. However, Olivia Pinheiro lied about her age, stating she was 24 years old. Journalist, Carlos Valverde, got hold of her original and fake birth certificates. In January 2011, Olivia Pinheiro declined her participation in Miss Universe 2011 due "to personal reasons", however she never answered to questions relating to her real age. Promociones Gloria, owner of Miss Universe franchise in Bolivia, announced that the winner of Miss Bolivia 2011 would participate in Miss Universe 2011. Notwithstanding, in June 2011, Olivia Pinheiro and Promociones Gloria announced that Olivia would remain the Bolivian representative to Miss Universe 2011.

Miss Bolivia 2009 - Claudia Arce Lemaitre

Claudia Arce Lemaitre (April 4, 1991 in Sucre - Bolivia), experimental model proved to be elected Miss Bolivia 2009 representing the department of Chuquisaca. In the development of competition won the titles of Yanbal Face, Best Smile and Best Costume Orest during the activities prior to the final night of competition. Claudia represented Bolivia at the fair Queen of the World 2009 in Berlin, Germany and also in the Miss Universe 2010, without success. It was the first Chuquisaca who participated in the Miss Universe.

First year studying Industrial Engineering at the Universidad San Francisco Xavier de Chuquisaca.

He has a degree in Physics. He has won first place in national competitions for Physics, Chemistry, Astronomy and Astrophysics held between 2005 and 2007. 2008 was nominated for: International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophisics in Indonesia.

He was special guest at the celebrations of the bicentenary of the first cry for freedom in his native South America Sucre, as well as the bicentennial of La Paz.

Officially visited several municipalities in the department of Beni and traveled to Lima, Peru for a photo shoot for the catalog Yanbal year-end.

He also served as the company image Fancesa in 2009 and was Fexpocruz Samsung model Teleinformática fair.

Claudia Arce is the Miss Bolivia with the longest reign in history, because the organization of Miss Bolivia, decided to carry out the annual event in August and not May as well as was constumbre.
